The Mission

Chapel Rope Access Group opens new heights in safety and innovation to industry and scientific research. We connect people, technology, and expertise to advance understanding where few can go.

About Us

Chapel Rope Access Group (CRAG) was founded on a simple principle: the safest, smartest way to work at height is also the most effective. Our team brings decades of experience in rope access, safety systems, and specialized engineering to projects where precision is non-negotiable.

From complex industrial sites to fragile natural environments, CRAG operates where others cannot. We integrate advanced rope access techniques with cutting-edge technology, custom rigging systems, and real-time data tools to solve challenges with unmatched efficiency and control.

We work as an extension of our partners in industry and infrastructure, bringing specialized access capabilities that integrate seamlessly with their existing teams. Whether supporting mechanical contractors on refinery turnarounds, assisting engineers with bridge and dam inspections, or enabling rapid, safe access for urgent repairs, CRAG’s model is built on collaboration. We supply the expertise, equipment, and safety culture; our partners bring their sector-specific knowledge. Together, we deliver results that would be impossible by conventional means.

But we do more than deliver technical solutions to the commercial sector. CRAG partners with researchers, conservationists, and cultural heritage teams to open new frontiers for exploration and study. Whether inspecting an offshore structure, conducting cliffside archaeological work, or supporting high-altitude environmental monitoring, we approach every project as both a safety mission and an opportunity for discovery.

Every rope we rig, every anchor we set, every system we deploy is backed by our uncompromising safety culture. Our technicians are among the most highly trained in the industry, and our safety record reflects our belief that no deadline, cost, or convenience is worth risking lives.

At CRAG, safety is the baseline: innovation and discovery are built on that foundation.
